Windows

Steve Vai has long been one of my favorite musicians.
I cannot play as good as him, but his music is inspiring.

Enjoy the video.

Renewed Hope

What a mystery the King of Glory would come
down from heaven to give His life for me.
No greater sacrifice has someone shown to me a sinner
whom I thought was an unknown.

The skies will sing of victory
As Your glory fills its vastness
You alone can save our souls
You alone have overcome death
No riches on earth,
nor dominions below
can match Your worth.

My sin was great, yet Your mercy was greater.
I'd lost all hope, You kept sight of me

The beauty of Love displayed for all to see
A beautiful body broken for you and me

Let it run, let it pour the crimson flow to
open up heaven's door
Oh love divine how sweet the wine
"Oh taste and see"

No words said to free thyself
You laid Your deity on the shelf
"Forgive us God we did not know"
let the crimson river, me, overflow.

The Window

Windows reveal.  From the inside we can see out, and from the outside we can look in.  A more appropriate title could be "The Looking Glass".  Our eyes are often called the 'window to our soul' and rightly so. While looking into the eyes of someone or something we can see joy, sorrow, pain, happiness, shock and horror.  What can be seen in your eyes?  Through the looking glass, part of our life's story is revealed.  The only part hidden is what we are thinking at the moment.  Windows come in many shapes, colors and sizes.  Each view is two-way, we look out at life and life looks in at us from a multitude of angles.  In this blog I hope to use windows and the stories they tell to reveal life and the people who inhabit it.
